Poem -

I'll rather not be a hero

'll rather not be a hero
I'll rather live a simple life
Devoid of great fame and sorrow
A life comfortingly shallow.

I'll rather stay in my small room
Than sail the seven seas
Where I'll constantly stare at doom
Spinning disaster on her loom.

I'll rather love quite moderately
Than love like romeo and juliet
Who both loved strongly and deeply
But ended their crazed love sadly.

I'll rather not be a pop star
Cos' then i'll always be confined
Can't check into just any bar
They'll point and scream"thats the pop star!"

Whether I wish to be or not
Destiny determines it all
If being a hero is my lot
I fear i can't change it at all.
