Poem -

I'll Rise Again

Strong and sure
 I stand to fight
The pain inflicted on me.
 With head held high
I'll live, not die,
 And face my destiny.
I'll light the fires
 Of funeral pyres,
The death of all I was.
 And like the Phoenix
From the ashes,
 Despair I'll rise above.
A strong and valiant warrior,
Fighting the fight of my life.
Through the tears and the pain
 I'll rise again
And become woman
 Instead of wife.
