I'm Here

I'm here because I have faith in you.
Even though it's not very hard to explain.
But when you trust and follow Christ as I do.
The Devil tries his best, to make you complain..

So I'm here.

Steering around obstacles placed in my path.
Phony concerns also, hidden by those who wear masks.
Yet, my resolve remains strong and absolute.
So I am ready for each one of God's many tasks.\

And I'm here.

To testify, and show proof to the masses.
That with hard work and dedication, you can win.
No matter how hard life hits you in the head.
God is always with you, evening your odds again.

Yet, why am I here?

The last place I ever expected to be.
Sometimes what we go through, eludes the mind.
That's when we should stop using our five senses.
Allowing the spirit of God to lead us, no longer blind.

So now I'm here.

And what am I suppose to be doing now?
Sometimes I'm confused, I have many questions.
The unknown has me fearful sometimes.
Or is it my heart that needs further inspection?

But I'm here.

And it's so unfair to me my peoples.
I really don't deserve to be treated this way.
But bad things happen to God's best people, I'm told.
So I'll wipe away my tears and look forward to the next day.

Because I'm here.

And even though I'm in dangerous territory.
At the moment, I can't quite see it yet.
But when it's all over said and done.
I'll be thankful to you God, and having no regret.

And since I'm here.

I'll be more attentive to your other children
We all need fellowshipping and love, no matter what.
I will honor and praise you every day my lord.
I feel much better now, I no longer feel stuck...
