I'm open
The poems I write
Are a window to my soul
At times its hard
It can really take its toll
Being so open
Feelings I usually hide
Waves of emotion
A stormy oceans tide
Putting into words
Torments I usually mask
It doesn't come naturally
Its a revealing task
Trying to dress it up
Dont want to make that mistake
I'll try my best be honest
So others can relate
