Poem -
The mind can be a scary place

Looking through my window
At a full, white, bright moon.
Glancing at the clock,
Hoping morning comes soon.
In the dark of night,
Cant keep my thoughts concealed.
No distractions from the world
To act as my shield.
Morning please hurry
With distractions of mankind,
To shelter me away
From these horrors of my mind.

I can completely relate, Kathy.
Those of us with depression, PTSD, as well as a myriad of other mental afflictions, should easily be able to relate to this.
I occupy my nights by writing.
It's always so...peaceful.
Well done...

Hey KATHY!!.... the act of writing one's most intimate thoughts and acts of loving revenge upon the blank pages of the broad foundation of the internet... is a kind of rebelliousness against one's own set of demons...... it is a beautiful act of trust......a beautiful effort against 'the machine'!!.......ALL STARS!!..... well done...... and......WELCOME to COSMO!!.....LOVE and ROCKETS!!......T xo
Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate them so much, thank you x
