I'm Over You-----------Based on old Hogie Carmicheal Song

I know I’m over you
that’s so true.
Except perhaps
when silver moonlight spills
over mountains
onto the flowers on the hills.
Then soft memories
of you will come to call
And I will again remember
the beauty of it all.
I never think of you
just like I should.
Except perhaps
when misty snowflakes fall
Then I will remember
how we sheltered
through it all.
But I have let you go
just like I should.
Oh Me oh My
What a crazy fool am I
To think I can hide
my broken heart.
Should I try once more
No its best I just keep
playing my part.
I am fine now
I am really over you.
Of course that’s true.
Except perhaps
When blossoms fill the trees
in spring.
But I should never think of Spring.
For that would
surely break my
poor heart in two.
