I’m power walkin’

Well I have started my New Year’s resolution and I am well on my way power waking for four miles along thru my local country lanes and riverside way.. tho I haven’t hiked alot since I broke the top of my right foot coz for six weeks or more I had to wear a rocky-bottomed colossal knee-length moonboot

But hey ho my injury is healed now thank the heavens above, that straight legged contraption wasn’t comfortable and not reminsced with love..so I am actually making rhymes up creating this poem and I will have walked four miles when I return to my home..which is really just as well coz it looks like its gonna rain, but thats what the weather does in January’s wax and wane..well “Tally ho my friends” I will have to hurry up, I don’t wanna be like a drenched cat nor a saturated pup

Mind you even tho thats a chilly air the sweats running down my back, I’ve plodged thru muddy puddles and my shoes are black.. but never-the-less when I get in my house I will be elated I went, tho when the day is done I may be buckled and bent.. I know I’ll have a nice hot bath, yes that’s what I’m gonna do.. I’ll lie lathered up for ages dreaming I’m on a beach in Mailbou..sipping my concoction of crazy cocktails with a barman at my beck and call strolling along the hot silky sand getting away from it all
