I'm tripping, a drug induced dream

In the city of neon lights and shadows,
Where the streets hum a tune of forgotten dreams,
I wander through the haze,
a traveler in my own mind,
Seeking the surreal, the unseen, the untold.
I see a man with a clock for a face,
Tick-tocking through the alleyways of time,
His eyes, two black holes,
swallowing the stars,
He whispers secrets of the universe,
in a voice like velvet and rust.
A woman dances on the edge of reality,
Her dress made of moonlight and whispers,
She twirls, leaving trails of stardust in her wake,
Her laughter, a melody that echoes through the void.
I ride a train of thought,
through tunnels of memory,
Past stations named Regret and Hope,
The conductor, a ghost of my past, tips his hat,
“Next stop, Infinity,” he says,
with a grin that knows too much.
