Imaginary Worlds and Times

In imaginary worlds and times

We live and breathe out futile crimes

No longer do we dance and sing

But play our tunes of suffering

With fragile hearts of shattered glass

We give up dreams with every gasp

We relish hate and embrace strife

Fleeing from the holy light

Monotonous forever, we walk in pain

Hiding in our day to day

On the backs of dismal hopes

Our dried up hearts grow old as bones

In imaginary worlds and times

We find our solace in the night

Intoxicated souls, we roam

In endless streams of lives alone
