Poem -

imagine beaches

Imagine beaches,
each grain of sand a soul,
restless in the wind deserted,
not moving at all.

I bled aloud that painful tone,
as it fell upon my ears,
a rainstorm of devastation
that I couldn't bear to hear.

They took him gently this morning,
amid the sea’s soft waves.
A gentleman sighed with affection.
A brother cast off his tears.

Little brother, I miss you,
your smile lit up the room.
Your humor and your presence,
they take the best too soon.
