spent
On the
Tax payers money
in order to
Secure political
Power
By both sides
Of the aisle
It is time
To impeach!
no funds
Are available
for the
Homeless veterans
Out there
No money
To help
The impoverished
Or educate
Those who have
Been left behind
But somehow
There is plenty
Of coin
To investigate
A president
Who got
His nuts
Drained
By
An intern
And another
Who colluded
With no
One and took
Care of business
No different
Than his predecessors
Did
The difference
Being
Is he does
not hide
The fact
That he is
A
Dick
Yes it is time to
Impeach!
However
The impeachment
Should
Be of the ones
Who are currently
the members
Of Congress
Let's start over
require
A percentage
To be equally chosen
from
Each economic,
cultural
Religous
Gender
And gender
Preference
Groups.
Let we the people
really be
We the people
It is time
To impeach

Very powerful writing.
You make your case loud and clear. Using true to life events with names given makes it more believable. The poem is political in nature, we all have our own views. I wonder how many writers will read the poem and steer clear of leaving a comment, worried they are on a different side. I won't give my political opinion’s, as that is not what a review is. I will write a critique that has to do with the writing, not so much as the subject matter.
I think it takes courage to stand up for what you believe in.
Keep writing pieces that beckon the reader to appreciate the power in the words and in their stance.
You stood up well in the piece. However unbiased it was. Maybe we could write a poem from the "other side" of things. As a compare and contrast.

thank you for your critique. I purposely made this unbiased as I am a Libertarian so both sides make me sick. I have a problem with the waste with these investigations. I didn't like it during the bill Clinton era either.
I agree, it's costing America in more ways than one.
It makes our country look "weak." But there is the issue of voting hacking. I stopped voting since all this happened. The Country remains greatly divided, more now than ever before. Hoping the future, is stronger for all American's, and the countries that the US could help -- bring out of poverty so we're all a stronger world for it. Decided to dive into my political brain, it's all rather confusing to me. I've been a democrat all my life, that is likely not to change. However, I want to know my vote counts, that is the goal America strives for. Equality -- that means, everyone.
