IMPERCEPTIBLE

IMPERCEPTIBLE

Only if you could understand the poet,
you’ll know he is not one to be understood;
he has lived a thousand years ahead
and lived several generations before you

Only if you could listen to the silence
you’ll hear your unheard voice speak
and the troubling turbulence nearing its death;
and a new song strung from your heartbeat

Only if you could hear the loudness of unspoken words,
your senses will cease to be your sole reality
and your heart will be fertile grounds for the worst
that springs from the distasteful of life’s mysteries

Only if you could value ‘nothing’,
you’ll find so much in little
and come to the realization that everything is nothing;
and that, ‘temporary’ is the Living’s temple
