ONE MORE LINE

Just one more line
A line filled with tons of lies
Yet, speaking abundant truths
Stories; all made up to woo
Just one more dip in the writer’s ink
We’ll be refreshed with just a sip
It’s been long sing we drank from his cup
All concocted but fills us up
The world will die of boredom without his art
For his art is the world’s heart
May he ride on the rhythm of the gods
Our ears yearn for a new song
Tell him to continue
Tell him to repaint the old anew
What is the world without his words?
How can we survive when he’s unheard?
