MANUMIT
Let the birds sail the winds
And the streams slither to their destinations
Let the dead waste away
And deny not the life of sprouting seedlings
Let what is gone go
And let go of things that go
Let not your mind hold you to your own untruths
Just listen to the song of your heart
It lets go of what it holds
Only to be filled anew
And music is what is made
'Lub-dub' 'lub-dub'
'Let go' 'let in'

Wow ANTHONY!!....this REALLY delivers a powerful message....and it's done so poetically that it enhances the entirety of the message's intent and subtle profundity.....I'm not exactly sure about your intent behind the final two lines.....but regardless you have crafted something quite special here ~
~ "Let the birds sail the winds
And the streams slither to their destinations
Let the dead waste away
And deny not the life of sprouting seedlings..."
Those lines are friggin' BRILLIANT brother!!..............ALL STARS & PINNED!!.......Bravo!.....LOVE & ROCKETS!!......T xo : )
PS. I tried to leave you Stars.....but it's not working properly, again!! (sorry) : (
Thanks Tony. I appreciate your compliments. Concerning the last 2 lines, lub-dub is the sound the heart makes when it receives and ejects blood. 'Let go' 'let in' means just like the heart receives blood anytime it ejects blood, we shouldn't be afraid to let go of certain things that we hold dearly. When we let go, we receive. Something takes the place of what is gone. What we receive may be even more precious.
This is a beautiful write ...Somethings though are just to precious and impossible to let go of x
