Poem -

Imperfections in Me

Ā

Everytime you look into my eyes,
I slowly fade away
Don't look so close
You won't like what you see
Ā

You will see the monsters that hide inside
Can't you see the other part of meĀ
Ā

I know I am not perfect
But atleast I know
Where I'm supposed to be

Every time you smileĀ
It makes me melt
I just hope you can see
Past all my imperfections and just see me
Ā

I want you to stare into my eyes
As if to say "I see you,"
And "I need you by my side"
Ā

I want you to see me
For who I really am
With all my flaws and imperfections
