Darker shades of blues

Darker shades of blues

All my torments
came to haunt,
its glamour so bright
to be blinding.
These guilded restraints,
so binding, so brave,
to hold from reach, my fate.
With callous indifference,
unmindful to witness,
closed this chapter and verse.
My mouth, set denying.
Its lips, poised in purse.
A whisper to faint to be heard.
Echos defiant, the weight
of their curse, unbounded,
they flail, unpurged.
I pray all these faults,
and with doubled resolve,
make sense to all those concerned.

somethings just never leave us do they? Trapped within trauma is what I felt reading this. A good write :)
