Poem -

In The Nursing Home

And what a ta doo do those old
dears make
Cussing the fuss of it all
As bitter as lemons whose zest
has dried up
Waiting to wake for that end of
life wake
Which might be a tad more than
what they have now
Least a drink or two waits which
is not from the cow
But for now they sit curled up like
comma's on life
Paused in the fuss of it all
