Inevitable Departures

It doesn't matter how long you know,
Spending as much time as possible,

How many moments you cherish,

The amount of laughs you share,

The quiet looks of mischief,

A bond that doesn't always need words,

The things you do,

The things you wish you did,

It doesn't make it any easier,

When that time comes.
