INFLUENCERS

a strange generation

INFLUENCERS

we are living in a very strange society
a nation filled with anxiety
if we have an opinion we only share it with ourselves quietly
everyone is scared to speak
not because we do not want to be unique
but because every sentence gives someone else the opportunity to critique
and even if we do not have a passion
in it
we still have to keep up with the latest trends in fashion
to give the media a sense of job satisfaction
and all i have to blame
is the whole “influencer” game
because of them we all now look the same
we dress the same
hell our opinions are all the same
they are not influencing, they are telling us what to do
they take us and turn us into something brand new
our reflection is no longer true
this is not what we should see
this is not what we were meant to be
we are our own type of beauty
