Injections

Injections

        by E.Burden
As the nurse prepares her weapon
I sit and wait for the venom
And with the smell of plastic gloves
I prepare to see a thousand doves
And feel the piercing skin stings
I rest until my stomach sings
 With lightheaded dizziness
  And feeling very powerless
With very painful limbs all day
I wait until it goes away
