Poem -

Innocence

When I was a boy,

I had a toy,
it fell to the ground,

not making a sound.
That's ok,

tomorrow's another day.

When I was young,

such senseless fun,
hanging around,

playing cars,

in the dirt on the ground,
that was my fun for the day.

When I was a toy,

playing with that little boy,
he fell hurtful,

I watched him that cared about me,

as a toy,

that little boy.

Take me for granted,

no such thing.
I was his favorite little thing,

I was just a simple,

a simple toy,

just as simple as that little boy.
