Instant Replay

You left my side too early, at least a thousand days;

Now the only thing that can heal me; is a quick “instant replay”!

For without you I’m so lonely, my heart cries out your name;

It needs its’ soulmate back again, and everything the same!

Our journey was not yet finished, so many stars to see;

And trips to sacred places, together, you and me!

Now the paths I walk are barren, without you at my side;

My heart is ever broken, a million tears its cried!

If only I could go back, and relive our loving lives;

I’d never let you leave me; I’d hold you by my side!

And if Fate came down to take you, I’d foil his sordid plans;

I’d wring his worthless neck out, if I had to use bare hands!

I know that when you left me, your soul was soon reborn;

I think you’re now a puppy, your Mothers’ womb adorned!

I need to come and fine you, please lead me where you lay;

And then we’ll start all over, on our next instant replay!
