I saw a starving man
Walking skin and bone
I offered him some food
He said 'Leave me alone.'
I guess he wasn't interested...

I saw a drowning man
Desperate hands I see
I offered him some air
He said 'Leave me be.'
I guess he wasn't interested...

I saw a wandering man
Longing for liberation
I offered him self knowledge
He left without hesitation
I guess he wasnt interested...

I am that starving man
I am that drowning man
I am that wondering man

I was mistaken
By my ignorance
Left shaken

I'm not simply 'interested' in things to be alive
Not merely an 'interest'
