When beauty fell in love with the beast
My small heart enlarged,
and the little girl
Deep inside me understood
what it was like to become woman
from innocent to pure innocence
A burning desire for a grander love
The internal love of a man,
Flesh or fur to her was everything
But nothing else but the heart,
I wanted that deep kiss that melted life
Creating new horizons
Sculpting the clouds and naming the stars
Within and without the glimmering
of my eye's
I've searched my whole existence
Though many monsters and demons
I have found
Always felt so far beneath everything
Like being trapped
Without love beneath the ground
I took my heart to places
I now wish I'd never found
Toying with the devil
Leaves your soul and mind unclean,
I'm still searching for that love
That innocent kiss to wake me from my sleep
a kiss that cannot be removed
for it runs eternal deep.
