Involuntarily Unsympathetic
Only One Can Judge
I pity those who cannot be acquainted with poetry.
I look down on those who cannot express themself.
I pity those who cannot beÂ
one with Mother-Nature.
I look down on those who cannot overcome their past.
I pity those who cannot learn to love themself.Â
I looked down on myself, before I gained self-pity.
I pity weaknesses and insecurities, they prevent change.
I look down on the victims of both, not out of wanted desire.
but because I too, used to be just like them! Until I pitied myself and looked down within.
I didn’t see a need for change!
I pity those who cannot accept what they see.
I look down on those who willingly lie to themself.
I pity myself sometimes now, because I am only a man.
I look down on that man from time to time, he is aware.
I pity those who don’t pity themselves.
They look down on me too, we’re all only human after all.
They pity me just the same, in their own way.Â
We all look down, but now I’m focusing on UP!Â
