Isolation 2020
A better world
I hear my neighbours laughter,
I see my children's smile,
The world may be in a crisis,
So stay home a little while.
The gardens getting beautiful,
The painting finally getting done,
We may be stuck in our homes,
But atleast we have the sun.
We may have our struggles,
But they seem to be so small,
We miss seeing our family and our friends,
But we can still give them a call.
Appreciate your family, the ones locked inside with you,
The memories you make today will last through and through,
So pull out all the play dough,
Get out the swimming pool,
Your kids will always remember, that their lock down was cool.
Atlast when we are all free to roam,
Too walk the streets, too shop again,
I promise a new and kinder world,
I'll see you then.
