It Will Never Be Enough

It Will Never Be Enough

Let's get this straight - it will never be enough,
no jealousy - it's just not made of the right stuff;
all these fancy buildings, strange deconstructive crap,
no matter whatever you do - there'll always be a gap.

We're lucky being in the motherland, think its theirs,
they don't realise that, with 'them,' no one really cares;
think they can take over but they never really will,
funnily, we'll always be ahead, even when standing still.

I hear you - think it's wishful thinking, what do you know?
Don't throw in the towel with a feeble american throw;
did I say 'american,' must have been a freudian silly slip,
I really meant us - before we let anything else dip.

They think they're so smart, don't know using an android,
you don't realise - your temporary lives are just a void.
