It Will Take More

It Will Take More

It will take more,
Than a box of tissues,
To take away the issues,
To take away the congestion,
That’s in my head,
That’s in my brain,
I don’t think it can be removed,
Maybe forever it shall remain,

It will take more,
Than a therapist,
To take away the schist,
The tumour that’s growing inside,
The pain that I carry with me,
The hurt I cannot hide,

It will take more,
Than a doctor,
To mend my broken heart,
That’s hurts my body,
In every part,
That hurts me more than you’ll ever know,
And everyday that you are away from me,
The pain just grows and grows,

Now, I feel that I have run out of tissues,
A therapist, nor a doctor I can find,
For I fear when you left me,
A broken man is what you left behind,

Now, all I have to do,
Is pick myself from the floor,
To stop me thinking of you anymore,
To carry on with my life,
But my darling,
I’m not quite sure,
I think it will take a lot more.
