IT'S A TRUE STORY

It sounds like fiction too unbelievable to be true 
However this story is fact and I'll tell it to you 
In 1982 a lady disappeared without any trace 
The police really baffled what actually took place

The lady's body was later discovered in 2017
In a sceptic tank which was horrific and obscene 
Her husband didn't know how his wife got there 
Was later found out that he was having an affair 

Evidence gathered and the hubby brought to trial
He is eighty nine years old and pleaded denial 
A month long case the decision finally came
Hubby was guilty and he was the one to blame 

Imagine having it on his conscience every day 
Bumping off his wife because she got in the way
Thinking he got away with the perfect crime 
For nearly forty years such a really long time
