It's alright little Darling

From my Raven Collection

It's alright little Darling

It’s alright little darling
dry your solemn tears
tomorrow is another day
and tomorrow
will be yesterday’s year

Your tears, worthy for your loss
but now it’s time to stop
put your pretty head up high
with the rain, the sun you’ll swap

and for every tear you’ve cried
your heart, I know has surely burst
but I promise you my darling
you’ve now come through the worst

It’s alright little darling
dry your solemn tears
tomorrow is another day
and tomorrow
will be yesterday's years.

That is so pretty, and sad, and heartwarming, Shirley! Loved it, and love the way you write, and your mind. Fantastical! M.

LOL just be yourself, and I'll take it as a great compliment dearest Rory, you are always one of my most favourite poets and I love everything that you say because it comes from your heart, I love my raven collection too it's a journey through grief with a positive outlook on loss. The kookaburra collection sound very colourful so maybe that will be my next one, I could call it
(when the kookaburra meets sunrise) and it would have been inspired by you my dear friend. 🌹  Thank you. 💙

Thank you so much dear friend, honoured when other poets enjoy work. I love that you love it. Comes from many deep dark corners of grief and I'm so proud to have it. Big hugs sis. 🌹
