It's like that and that's the way it is

It's like that and that's the way it is no one cares or even dares to be better in my echelon of people.  It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say they could give a damn.  Where does love, pride and respect reside?  Not in my environment of people because it's like that and that's the way it is.  I often hear people complaining about their job and the people they work with.  I'm around folks who dodge work and spend most of their time on the cell phone while in the work place.  This really disgusts me but it's like that and that's the way it is.

I often wished that I could have a positive influence on other people but often times my hard work and dedication go unnoticed.  I'm describing my work setting and the attitudes of the people I work with every day.  What will it take to make them realize that a negative attitude gets you no where?  I've tried to influence others in a positive way by not complaining, working hard and willingness to assist others.  I enjoy the work I do since it pays my bills and maybe I have influenced someone in a positive way.  God knows that I've tried and I know life wasn't designed to be easy and I wonder why?  My response would be it's like that and that's the way it is.  Have you ever heard or listened to the rap artist Run DMC.
