It’s Mommy’s Diamond Jubilee

Happy Birthday Mommy, from my Daddy and from me;
Tomorrow you’ll be seventy-five, it’s your Diamond Jubilee!
But when I see other Mommy’s, you look exactly their same age;
All of them under forty, no way your years to gauge!
.
Your hair is long and shaggy, it hangs down to your butt;
My Daddy loves to play in it, and so does this young mutt!
Your voice is soft and tender, you treat me like a Queen;
You play with me for hours, the best Mommy ever seen!
.
So tomorrow when you wake up, to the mirror you must go;
And you’ll see a beautiful young woman, thirty-five or so!
Then pick me up and hug me, I’ll give you a Birthday kiss;
And at night I’ll go to beddie, so you and Daddy can share some bliss!
.
.
It’s Mommy’s Birthday
You’re barking up the wrong tree
When you guess her age
