maybe try n read to the tune of Bowies Life on Mars .. or maybe not
It’s Not Such a Small Affair
Looking back it seems hardly fair
That the girl with the mousy hair
Is about to be struck again
As they ask us to focus on
Air strikes and bodies in the harbour
Oh’ man
Just look at them cool nukes blow
It’s the freakiest show
Take a look at those dead guys
Huddled in the corner
Oh’ man I wonder if they ever knew
One day they would be famous
Take a look at those bad guys
Shooting up the good guys
Oh’ man
Take a look at those cool Syrian skies
Full of holy grails and vapour trails
Still beating up the wrong guys
With the hem of a torn prayer shawl
No it’s not such a small affair
For the girl with the mousy hair …….

Some of Bowie's tracks make me cry, the more upbeat stuff I'm not fussed. For me he probably had one of the most expressive voices I've ever heard...he could hold a melody without the music...hugs x
