Poem -

It's over!

It's over!

He stood defiant, his voice bitter and thick,
Over.
"You don't love me anymore," he accused,
Gone.
Her silence a fortress, impregnable, cold,
Truth.
Their love, once a banner, now tattered and old,
Change.
He raged against the dying of their flame,
Alone.
A revolution of the heart, a cruel game,
Ends.
She turned away, her eyes void of the storm,
Silence.
His words, a diatribe, as emotions transform,
Farewell.
