The Kraken awoke and snaked tentacles thro' your door,
never seen anything like it, chances of survival were poor;
after the Triffids had picked up their roots and walked,
there was nothing else very interesting when we talked.

Although Asimov laid a 'Foundation' beyond his station,
the laws of robotics opened a nest, you'd had your ration;
Gods of Foxcroft even suggested that you couldn't die,
however, sometimes it worked when I decided to try.

Now quantum physics can just have you in hysterics,
I used to be here, now I'm there, I'll show you the pics,
cheaper than a taxi fare, even better if you stay alive,
it all came true, thanks to something called the ion drive.

Whatever show you choose, it's going to be your decision,
but later, Rocky Horror said that it was just science fiction.
