Poem -
It's the Season for Treason
Am I evil because I don't care about Trump or Biden or any schmuck in betweenÂ
Am I committing treason by not glorifying the Great American DreamÂ
Am I inhumane by tuning out, shutting down all coverage of the Royals and Kardashians
Am I uncivil for not supporting any sports team
Is it so bad that I care more about my neighbour's kids who go to school with an empty belly
Is it so dark and conspiracy that I stop to pray for Rohingya, Uyghur, Palestinian and Yemeni
Should I be obliterated and rendered obselete
Simply because I stretch out my hands and take my love out to the street
Does that make me a candidate for the Darwin Awards
Why is it so tabboo that I open my heart's doors

Does seem Aussie is "far away" from US/Europe and elsewhere. Any good hearted poet needs to pay attention to what's going on, my 2c.
