Poem -

It's Time

Violence , turmoil , and an abundance of hate,
Have left this beautiful country in an erroneous state,
We pick battles not worth fighting,
While failing to report stories worth citing,
Power in numbers yet we choose to divide,
Solely based on individual stubborn pride,
Our differences in opinions make us who we are,
But should not permeate motivation to blindly spar,
Never will we all agree in politics, religion, or creed,
But many can agree in the desire to succeed,
We all must take a look deep into our core,
Imperfections we all have, yet choose to ignore,
Many will depart to fight and die to defend our freedom,
We must not allow their sacrifice to be in vain or beaten,
This is my plea to all who love this land,
Come together and take a unified stand,
Protect this country for our future generation,
Banding with each other for the greatest assimilation.
