It's Time To Be Serious

I was laughing at the comedy on tv
when I flipped to a different channel to see
the news so depressing but it needs to be known.
It's terrible innocents killed in their homes!
Bombings,abductions,and robberies
is that really what we want the world to be?
I mean come on really? Whats to gain
from causing harm and bringing on pain?
What is all these negativities for?
They don't heal the heart, and sorrow it only brings more.
How can the world be this twisted?
I know good has a chance there's no way we missed it.
It's time to get serious! It's time to be real!
We better start caring how people feel.
The world needs to change don't think I'm crazy.
You think there's no chance, but the truth is your lazy.
It's time to be serious, and clean up our act.
We can all do this so lets make this oppinion fact.

Lauren,
Great insight on what many might take for granite but in the eyes of god the many minial aspects of life is passing us by and the majority of us, tend to wonna take it,(life) with a grain of salt, allowing the bitter spoils of our society to over rule the good, kind and responsible ways of life and those who are trying to live life as it was and how it was meant to be lived, to the fullest, by us all and with all.Me myself elect to take sugar with my coffee and give back all things sweet and serene, to all of those that practice the same values in forgiveness in this life time and in this life time deserves it in return....Great poem and with structural meaning to back it.. kindest regards,
Jimmy
Thank you Jim! I figured it was well over do for a serious poem but this one needs to be taken into thought
