I'VE LONG BEEN DEAD
Sertraline; the 'Happy Pill' Take it you are MENTALLY ILL
Crying non stop every day; these will wipe your tears away
No longer do you need to hide, your spirit locked so deep inside
Feelings die. Personality too; A certain guarantee for you
You'll just function day to day; watch the grey skies drift away
Floating safe inside a bubble; no-one cares... It's too much trouble
Libido gone. DEAD and BURIED
Why did we bother getting married?
A zombie like state behind the wheel. CRASHED the car...didn't feel
Take your choice YOUR pills or me! Flushed away... Reluctantly
Watched them vortex down the drain.Tears flow like pouring rain
I cry for cheated years gone by; I want to RUN! I want GOODBYE!
Hatred grows inside my head."Oh I WISH I WISH you dead!"
Crazy now the knife and me; searching for some sanity
Plunging deep towards my heart. Beats don't stop...They didn't start
I've never really been alive; surely I will not survive?
Paranoia... screams inside my head
We both know that I'VE LONG BEEN DEAD.

Sometimes we do have to laugh in order to prevent from crying....Sad to say bu true and in this poem you really placed all into perspective. (Unfortunately) I have not read one of your poems until now, unlike Angel whom has read them all, but this one hook lined and sinkered me and was one written, with great rhyme and charisma and made all the sense in the world...This may be the first to have been read by me but never will it be the last....This was wrote quite well...
