"Jaanu”

"Jaanu”

I thought that love had find me
The day I met you
You made me feel safe
By just the little things you do

You made me laugh again
When I had forgotten how to
You said you will never hurt me
But today that’s just what you do

You just leave me and went away
Without saying goodbye
And my hearts are so broken
Trying to wonder why

And the song you use to sing to me
Keeps playing in my head
It keeps me awake at night
Crying alone on my bed

Jaagte hain hum raath raath
We remain a wake whole night long
You use to sing to me
Then tell me the meaning of the song

I wonder where you are tonight
And if you thinking of me to
And playing those romantic songs
And remember how you use called me “jaanu”

Well if you do remember me
The person that you leave behind
You left your signature in my heart
And that will always be mine

I know that you love me
So why did you had to go
You leave me so heart broken
And everyday I miss you so

And in my mind I keep hearing
That haunting melody
Of those romantic hindi songs
That you use to sing to me

Jaagte hain hum raath raath
We remain a wake whole night long
You use to sing this song to me
Then tell me the meaning of the song

So alone I cry tonight
Just thinking of you
And wonder if you ever miss
Me your friend “jaanu
