Jack and Jill ?❤️

Whatever happened to yon house on that hill ? Or is it on the top at the mercy of God’s will?
That is where Jack used to live there with Jill.. two ghosts treading the pastures amidst the midnight chill

She used to climb up the crevasses and he used to follow.. that’s when he hurt his head slipping into a hollow.. but they were inseperable like ‘Derby and Joan’ the bestest of friends that I’ve ever known

I still spy their shadows and I hear shrilling sighs as I rub my eyes in disbelief at the shadowy surprise.. Jill is usually pulling Jack up the hill in the eventide’s demise.. and they are gone before the haziness of an early sunrise..
