Jaded

Jaded

Wearied eyes and shaded cries
return those pretty lies
from sigh to nigh none
from none to no more by
shapeless emotions
of swirling blackness
which took root and grew
(as trees do, into the soil)
deep into my blood
and my flesh
inseparable and so
undetachable
and now
I will never forget the things you did to me.
Ever.
