JCG Memorial Reception

JIM’S MEMORIAL RECEPTION
 
At the Memorial Service Reception were friends from Allentown Pennsylvania,  Allen High School, Nyack College, the Alliance Seminary,  friends from churches he attended and churches he served in Long Island and in New York City,  human rights activists he had worked with,  former students and teachers he had worked win in NYC and in New Jersey, friends from West Milford,  the Democratic Club and several he used work with as a house painter,  members from the 12 step rooms,  an ex-wife and maybe an ex-girlfriend and my wife of course. 
 
At the reception buffet was baked ziti, mac and cheese,  baked ham, sandwiches, cheese sliders, , meat balls, fruit and vegetable trays,  dessert trays,  water, tea and coffee that the church auxiliary can organize or money from the estate can be used to pay for catering.
 
One attendee of the memorial service said,  “I wish I knew Jim better.”  The other says,  “He wrote four books -  you can learn about him better that way.  Modern Augustinian Confession,  Bottom of the Food Chain, Poetry for the Kathy Lee Child Sweatshop Labor Retirement Village and A Robot Ate My Homework are on Amazon.com.
