From the neck up journalism is dead!
Pointless for the papers to ever be read.
Conspiring men want their power to grow!
Gathering up treasures and people to stow.
Your free to believe whatever you want,
I warn you the media peddles lies as to flaunt!
Exalted free press; isn't free anymore,
The toast of the town now bought and paid for.
Run for your lives as they try and confuse!
Demanding attention to their deceiving news.
Academia explains; it's all for your best,
Or forget that goal of passing our test!
Is this a conspiracy contrived of the left?
You can bet the report is journalism theft!

I agree Jim, this world is corrupt and we are drip fed what they want us to believe. But then...we are a stupid species and deserve everything we get...the proof...look at the handful of very rich idiots, that WE the millions and millions of people worldwide keep on electing to power...nice write ?

News papers publish stories that will sell their papers. Truth is distorted for the story and packaged as fact. It is all about money at the end of the day. The papers had a field day publishing the "facts" in the run up to the big Europe vote... And look how that ended up! I take anything I read in the papers with a pinch of salt. Cleverly composed with a powerful message! Fake news is everywhere I doubt we ever get the real truth. But if the demand wasn't there the supply wouldn't be either would it. Re journalism it's when they pick on the kids that it really gets me, Like young Baron Trump, young Prince George, I mean they are kids for goodness sake! They don't ask for that life! It's awful

I threw out my tv in 2006, stopped reading news papers in 2013. It was refreshing to have my brain back. But in 2020 this insideous beast got a toehold back in when I joined Twitter and Instagram. No mercy! 😅
