Journey

I wish my life were

like a train-journey.

Like looking out of its window,

sitting calmly with no hurry,

I would gaze at the world-

the world ever in motion.

Sometimes I would close my eyes

feeling strangely sufficed.

Few sights would appeal me,

and passing them, I would regret,

"It won't come back, won't come back!"

I would regret and regret-

a short-lived joyous regret.

Like halting on stations,

I would loiter at unknown places.

I would loiter and think,"Can I stay a bit?"

Something like the train-whistle would

remind me- I was already late,

that was not the place to wait.

At the end,

I would try to forget,

I would try to forget all.

If destiny is reached,

are the paths we traveled

worth a recall?

Indeed! life is alike a journey. As in the midst of life-span we observe sweet and bitter experiences similar to rough and smooth track. Nice imagimation.
