In the dark 
I search for sight
Wisdom and knowledge
Self worth and impowerment
Im weak
But a workaholic
Love its benefits 
Hate its flaws
Because its always
Leaving you scraps 
And the only way to even the score
Is if we part ways
Only difference is im so focused

So im tortured by the sight of you
As memories flood my mind
I feel more and more weak
As im strangled by my emotions
I try to hold back but they're potent
Like the venom of a snake
How I wish I could wrap around you
And show you all the love you've been missing
With sweet kisses across your neck and down your spine
As the room temperature begins to climb
Through love I define 
My time with you as precious
Although time aint on our side
Memories last forever
And in my heart you reside
I feel one with you 
Because your importance in my life
