Poem -

Just a thought

Life is rarely ever fair, oh if we could make it so
And pass through it with ne'er a care, smiling as we go.
Yet people are largely horrible, especially to other people,
We're persistently incorrigible, but in the main we're feeble.

When one encounters rational, warm and generous behaviour
Please never take it as casual, try to pass on the favour.
Caring and benevolence are rare resources to find,
The world's oft a mad, bad place to be
So be thoughtful, be grateful, be kind.

I'd like to believe that we all do try but experience tells me otherwise....all we can do is our individual bit each day I reckon. If I can raise a smile from someone without impacting on another then that's a kind thing to have done. Whatsayeth you? :)
Thanks for liking it btw.
