SLIPPING THROUGH TIME

Down on the rivers side
where i sat in mud from some forgotten bride
Alone in this pondering phantasm
circus clowns were pushing a bleeding fallen star
pointed like the books resting in sealed confiscation
seated strapped to my pantomime
heavy in loves dreary exercise
i drank from a bottle hollow
balanced  on a seraphim

Down deep into the rivers sludge
i sank with dreams cavorting in resplendent demise
naked except for the gibbet inside
my soul emphysematous exhausted
above now closes in muck,mire,ooze
three Witches who in surreptitious desires
follow my decay crumble and spoil
recipe in decomposing banquet

Down below the rivers hidden side
rested detached ,solo, alone
breathless spurned , forsaken  ,
i await
i await
my transmigration
my return,
my animated heart ,

all is falsehood
all is betrayed
i await to rise free
at least for one smile
