Just Another Day

Just Another Day

As the sun settles on a warm evening night,
casting shadows as it cools, forgetting its delight.
Flowers go to sleep, on a warm gentle breeze,
to look forward to a morning, where it can again spread its leaves.
As the Night creeps in behind a full bright Moon,
bringing its own shadows that will linger in the gloom.
A gentle rain falls to refresh a tired Earth,
to replenish and nurture, and revive a mother’s birth.

The rain washes away the stale smell of another day,
and brings with it life, to another endless play.
The gentle breeze flutters beneath the wings of a moth,
and carries it aloft, to soar amongst the lost.

As the Night draws to an end, and Dawn breaks once again,
the Night goes to sleep, and allows the Sun to remain.
As the Earth comes to life with a warm gentle breeze,
and the Sun grows brighter to cast shadows on the leaves.

Another day has begun and the Earth comes alive,
until the Sun settles once more, and allows the Earth to revive.
