Just another junkie

• So many questions but the answers we never find
• We do whatever it takes to ease the mind
• Self medicate to get us through the day smoke,
• Pop pills or roll dope
• And in our minds we believe it's helping us cope
• We don't notice the damage we do to the ones who love us
• One more pill we pop another drink we take another hit we loose
• Everyone's trust
• Through sober eyes we count the mistakes and set out to fix them
• Time and time again
• The ones who love us cried so many tears to high to notice
• It's all about us
• No one understands the pain we tell ourselves and our demons speak
• Loud and clear
• Wondering where the next hit will come from is our biggest fear
• The mirror says to us your trash a pathetic waist of space
• Convinced by our conscience junkies we become to ashamed to show our face
• We hide from ourselves trusting opioids, Xanax,meth,crack whiskey and beer
• Loved by so many to blind to see all we know is the devil in our ear
• The demons convince us were in pain so we take another pill we're tired so we
• Roll a bowl
• There has to be a better way this was never a goal
• Over and over the demons scream and repeat in our head
• Your pathetic a worthless junkie no one cares not even if your dead
• Victims of circumstance created by the choices we continue to make
• Hearts racing beating out chest because were high again how much
• More can they take
• Now here we are just a memory that last high became our end
• Reckless living poor decisions murdered by a so called friend
• We trusted dope it deceived us it promised to make it all better
• Take the gun dope said and don't forget to leave a letter
• Another junkie gone but our love ones will suffer the pain
• Day in and day out life will never be the same
• Gone are the chances we will never again get and our
• Only excuse is we wanted to forget
